Arab Bank - Syria

A private commercial commenced operation in 2006. Operating as a joint-stock company, it is governed by the regulations stipulated in the Central Bank of Syria Law, the Basic Monetary System Law No. 23 of 2002, and Law No. 28 of 16 April 2001. Since 2010, the bank has been listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange, with a capital of 10,000,000,000 Syrian pounds.

Ahli Trust Bank

A private commercial bank commenced operations in 2005. Operating as a joint-stock company, it is governed by the regulations stipulated in the Central Bank of Syria Law, the Basic Monetary System Law No. 23 of 2002, and Law No. 28 of 16 April 2001. Since 2009, the bank has been listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange, with a capital of 5,724,500,000 Syrian Pounds.

Since 2011, the bank has been listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange, with a capital of 5,250,000,000 Syrian pounds.

Bank of Jordan Syria

A private commercial bank commenced operations in 2008. Operating as a joint-stock company, it is governed by the regulations stipulated in the Central Bank of Syria Law, the Basic Monetary System Law No. 23 of 2002, and Law No. 28 of 16 April 2001. Since 2010, the bank has been listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange, with a capital of 3,000,000,000 Syrian pounds.

Bank Al-Sharq

A private commercial bank commenced operations in 2009. Operating as a joint-stock company, it is governed by the regulations stipulated in the Central Bank of Syria Law, the Basic Monetary System Law No. 23 of 2002, and Law No. 28 of 16 April 2001. Since 2010, the bank has been listed on the Damascus Securities Exchange, with a capital of 4,125,000,000 Syrian pounds.
