Selling Foreign Currencies to Public Sector Delegates

Service Documents:

1. Copy of Delegation Decision: delegation decisions issued by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.
2. Official Letter: A formal letter issued by the relevant ministry, detailing the delegate's name, the amount in Syrian pounds, the travel destination, the authorized recipient's name, and any necessary account information in Syrian pounds, along with a check for the amount or cash.
3. Type of Amount Requested: Indicate whether it is a delegation advance or term fee.

Requirements:

If the delegation decision is issued by the competent minister, an approval for the allocation of foreign currencies from the Foreign Currencies Priorities Committee of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers must be attached. This approval is issued based on a letter submitted by the relevant ministry to the committee. Only after obtaining this approval should a request be submitted to sell foreign currencies to the Central Bank of Syria.
