Monetary Policy Implementation Committee

The Monetary Policy Committee was formed in accordance with the provisions of Article 7 of Decree No. 21 of 2011, amending the law regulating the work of the Central Bank of Syria and Basic Monetary System No. 23 of 2002. This committee aims to provide the required technical assistance and advice to the Monetary and Credit Council to enhance its ability to develop a Monetary policy strategy, and monitor its implementation. This is achieved by submitting a set of recommendations, opinions, solutions, and proposals to the Monetary and Credit Council to ensure the achievement of the final and intermediate objectives of the monetary policy.
